About BioLife Health

Advancing health through science, technology, and comprehensive care. We integrate neurological, biological, psychological, and social factors to create personalized solutions that improve health, well-being, and quality of life.

BioLife Health is dedicated to advancing well-being through innovative research, emerging technologies, and comprehensive, people-centered care.

Through healthcare services, research and development, education, technology evaluation, and community outreach, BioLife Health works to translate scientific knowledge and technological innovation into practical solutions that can make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Our goal is simple: to help people live healthier, more capable, and more fulfilling lives.

Our Mission

To enhance quality of life and well-being through equitable, accessible, effective, safe, and people-centered care.

We believe healthcare should be both scientifically grounded and human-centered. Every individual deserves to be understood as a whole person, with care that recognizes their unique circumstances, goals, challenges, and strengths.

Our Vision

To transform healthcare by pioneering an integrated approach in which science, technology, and human connection work together to create meaningful and lasting health outcomes.

As healthcare continues to evolve, BioLife Health seeks to bridge the gap between emerging science and everyday healthcare—bringing promising technologies, research, education, and personalized care together in ways that can improve lives.

Our Approach

Health Is More Than a Diagnosis

Traditional healthcare often focuses on identifying and treating individual symptoms or conditions. While diagnosis and treatment remain essential, BioLife Health believes that a deeper understanding of health requires looking at the whole person.

Our approach considers four interconnected dimensions:

1. Neurological

The brain and nervous system influence cognition, behavior, movement, emotional regulation, sleep, and many other aspects of health. Understanding neurological function can provide important insights into both health and disease.

2. Biological

Nutrition, genetics, metabolism, inflammation, physical activity, sleep, and other biological processes contribute to an individual's overall health and resilience.

3. Psychological

Emotional well-being, stress, motivation, behavior, coping skills, and psychological resilience can significantly influence health and quality of life.

4. Social

Relationships, family, community, environment, education, employment, and other social circumstances can affect both health and the ability to maintain healthy behaviors.

These dimensions do not operate independently. They interact continuously—and understanding those interactions can lead to more comprehensive and individualized approaches to health.

Our Commitment to Excellence

BioLife Health is built on three fundamental principles.

Innovation in Practice

Healthcare is continually changing. We actively follow developments in neuroscience, health technology, artificial intelligence, behavioral science, and other areas of contemporary health research.

Our goal is to evaluate emerging approaches thoughtfully and incorporate evidence-informed innovations when they can provide meaningful value.

Comprehensive Care

We look beyond individual symptoms to understand the broader context of health.

By considering neurological, biological, psychological, and social influences together, we strive to develop more complete and individualized approaches to care.

Patient Empowerment

We believe informed people are better equipped to participate in their healthcare.

Through education, transparent communication, and accessible health information, we help individuals better understand their health and participate actively in decisions about their care.

Our Impact

Every day, BioLife Health works toward four interconnected goals:

Improve Health Outcomes

Developing personalized, evidence-informed approaches that support better health and quality of life.

Advance Knowledge

Exploring important questions in health, neuroscience, technology, wellness, and healthcare innovation.

Empower Through Education

Making useful and understandable health information available to individuals, families, professionals, students, and communities.

Build a Healthier Future

Exploring responsible applications of technology and artificial intelligence while maintaining the human connection at the center of healthcare.

The Neural-biopsychosocial Model

BioLife Health employs the Neural-Biopsychosocial Model of Health, developed by our founder and director, Dr. David L. Priede, PhD, in 2017.

The model expands upon traditional biopsychosocial thinking by placing particular emphasis on neurological function and its interaction with biological, psychological, and social factors.

Rather than viewing health problems in isolation, the model encourages consideration of the relationships among these systems.

For example, sleep can influence cognitive function and emotional regulation. Stress can affect physiological processes and behavior. Social connection can influence psychological resilience. Neurological function can affect how an individual responds to changes in the environment.

By considering these relationships, BioLife Health seeks to develop a more comprehensive picture of health and identify opportunities for personalized intervention, prevention, and wellness.

The objective is not simply to address symptoms, but to better understand the person behind them.

AI-driven Medical Innovations

Artificial intelligence is transforming healthcare—from the way information is analyzed to how clinicians and researchers identify patterns, evaluate technologies, and develop new approaches to patient care.

BioLife Health is exploring the responsible application of AI to healthcare through our Wellness Integration through Smart Evaluation (W.I.S.E.) initiative.

W.I.S.E. represents our vision for using intelligent technologies to help organize and evaluate complex health information and support more informed healthcare decision-making.

Our areas of exploration include:

  • Predictive analytics

  • Multimodal health-data analysis

  • Intelligent information systems

  • Clinical decision-support technologies

  • Personalized health strategies

  • Healthcare workflow optimization

  • Research and knowledge discovery

We recognize that healthcare AI must be developed and used responsibly. Innovation must be accompanied by appropriate attention to privacy, security, transparency, fairness, human oversight, and the limitations of automated systems.

BioLife Health therefore views AI not as a replacement for healthcare professionals, but as a potential tool for augmenting human expertise, improving efficiency, supporting research, and expanding access to useful health information.

As the technology develops, BioLife Health will continue evaluating its potential benefits, limitations, risks, and appropriate applications.

Memory, Mental Health & Personality Self-Tests

BioLife Health provides access to a collection of free online self-assessments designed to help you learn more about memory, cognition, mental health, personality, relationships, health, and overall well-being.

Some assessments take just a few minutes, while others provide a more in-depth exploration of specific areas. These tools can offer useful insights and serve as a starting point for further learning and discussion with a qualified healthcare professional.

Self-assessments are educational resources, not medical diagnoses. If you have concerns about your memory, mental health, or overall well-being, we encourage you to discuss them with a licensed healthcare professional.

Looking Forward

Healthcare is entering a period of extraordinary change.

Advances in neuroscience, genetics, artificial intelligence, digital health, wearable technology, and personalized medicine are changing how we understand health and how healthcare may be delivered in the future.

BioLife Health believes the most meaningful innovations will not come from technology alone.

They will emerge when scientific knowledge, responsible technology, compassionate professionals, informed individuals, and healthy communities work together.

That is the future we are working toward.

We are committed to continuing our exploration of emerging science and technology while maintaining the principles that have always mattered most in healthcare: safety, evidence, ethics, accessibility, compassion, and respect for the individual.

At BioLife Health, we are more than a healthcare organization.

We are a partner in the pursuit of better health, greater understanding, and a healthier future.
